mIRC and ZoneAlarms

A while back a question was posted somewhere as to how to get both irc and ZA to work together. I might just be being a n00b, or it might have been deleted but I can't find it either way so thought I would start a new thread containing the answer.

If you have the full version of ZA on your pc then it tends to kill irc, by not letting you connect, giving you this message:

-mothra.cyanide-x.net- [ Blocked by Zone Labs Security ]

even if irc has all "trusted" tick things in programme control mirc still wont work.

So to make IRC work along side ZA, you have to:
-right click on ZA icon to open ZA
-click on the IM security tab
-click advanced
-uncheck the "block irc" box

and you're done :)

Well i only said it to confuse axle there is nothing wrong with my internet conection

The thing that is a problem with IRC is wireless internet connection. I want to actually fix the problem I have from my boyfriend's apt at college.

Any suggestions on how to fix it with wireless.

The problems:
I cannot log on or connect to it.

I have the same problem, I can use cable connection ok but cannot use wirless with IRC. So any help would be g8t. Im using a laptop by the way, just in case that makes a difference:)
