For Kings of Chaos, there was an upgrade guide indicating how many weapons you should have or what stats you should have for each upgrade. I think we should have such a guide for ROK as well, and have begun working on one.

Given that I have not purchased all the upgrades on ROC, I am unsure of how the fortifcation and siege levels compare to KOC, so I will post what I have so far. Someone who has a list of all the ROK siege levels and fortification levels can post a list here or simply edit my excel file and repost it.

Basically, my file will list all the fortification and siege levels, and how many weapons of each type it would take to make it cost effective. The formula works like this:

Number of Dragon Blade's needed to make upgrade cost effective x 12,800 (the weapon strength) divided by the strength of the lower weapon.

So if it takes 1 Dragon Blade and you want to know how many Anvil's that is, then do 1 * 12800 / 2560= 5.

All you would have to do in my excel file is adjust the names of the upgrade levels if needed, and the number of Diamond Excaliburs or Legend Shields. The rest of the numbers for the other weapons will change accordinly. However, be warned that adding rows or columns may mess up the forumulas, so be careful.

EDIT: New copy of the file uploaded on September 23rd 2008.

One comment I should add, is that I Just took the SA/ DA upgrades from KOC and used the same list for ROC, so there are bound to be some differences. Additionally, I took the KOC BPM and IV shield number and converted it into Dragonblade numbers. How people determine the exact number of weapons needed to make an upgrade cost effective remains a mystery to me, so the guide is just a rough estimate/

I believe there is one fort missing. I think I never got Moat, but I'm not sure that it is that one, it could be another one but there's definetly one missing.

As for the siege levels, I have no idea, since I'm going for banker.

ADDITION: don't forget the change in the multipliers. I can give you one already: stronghold gives you 3,4x

Good for you.

The next upgrade is only 9600 men though, and costs 200,000,000 gold. I bought it thinking it doubled every time, and that I would get 12,800 but I was mistaken.

The next upgrade is 400,000,000 after that, but I see no reason to get it since 9600 men a day is good enough, even with lack of clicking.

I currently have 16000 a day, which cost 800,000,000.

19200 is 1.6 billion and 22400 is 3.2 billion.

No it is not, but I will upload a more recent version.

If someone could give me a list of all the SA/ DA upgrades, it would help. I am also unsure of the exact number of weapons needed to make each upgrade cost effective, so if you have a general idea how to determine that, please let me know.

EDIT: I uploaded a more recent version, but again other users can contribute information to help improve the guide.
