Okay, so, now that I live on my own, I got myself a 6 persons couch and a fancy desk and all.. all pretty cheap.

Now, for the finishing touch, I need a fancy tv.

It shouldnt cost too much.. somewhere between 200/400 euros.. but if possible, I wanna try to keep it as low as possible above 300€.

ATM I'm looking at this model and I'm really tempted to get it, but I want some input =)

That is not a tv Richardge , it is computor screen if you intend to use it as a TV you would need a TV card or something in that region.

No, its both a TV as Monitor. Thing is, review on his monitor performance say its 'okay to play games on' while the reviews for TV say it has great colors etc.

But because of the many connection possibilities, it can perfectly be used as either one.

Link me to your source , Yes if you have an input form an alternative source you can use it as a TV screen , and it should be more than great for games .
I do have to warn you if it has a glossy finish like mine does Samsung 2232GW it will reflect everything so you will need a dark room.( talking about the viewing area here )

its both fool, the HD means its a tv too. Ive got an older model and its pretty good, but loses analogue tv stations when power is lost, and the vertical viewing angle sucks a bit, not sure how that one compares tho.

Ah I see what you mean now , we only have the T240 over here and thats a monitor only.
